Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as our Baronial Arts and Sciences Minister.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and promoting the arts and sciences activities within our barony, and fostering a culture of learning, creativity, and camaraderie. This is a vital position that contributes to the enrichment of our SCA community.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and promote arts and sciences events, workshops, and competitions.
- Encourage members to explore and develop their artistic and scientific interests.
- Mentor and support individuals in their pursuit of period-appropriate crafts and skills.
- Collaborate with other officers to coordinate and enhance baronial events and activities.
- Maintain records of arts and sciences activities within the barony.
- Serve as a liaison between our barony and the Kingdom Arts and Sciences community.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic about medieval and Renaissance arts and sciences.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and motivate others.
- Familiarity with SCA culture and customs is a plus, but not required
