The War of the Phoenix team is seeking T-Shirt art designs!

Theme: “Forged in Flames”

The theme for our upcoming war is Forged in Flames. Using this theme, artists are invited to design art that embodies that theme.

Requirements

  • Design submissions should be a single ink color line-drawing.
  • Artists may submit more than one design.
  • Designs need to be submitted by midnight, August 31, 2024. Designs submitted after the deadline will not be considered for the Populace Choice.

Timeline

  • Design submissions will be accepted throughout the month of August, 2024.
  • The populace at large will be given an opportunity to choose their favorite design by Populace Choice survey that will be made available on September 1, 2024.
  • The winning design will be announced at Fall Crown Tournament in mid-September, 2024.
  • T-shirts will be available for pre-order purchase in late Fall of 2024.

Winning Design

The design that gains the most support will be the design for the official War of the Phoenix t-shirt for our upcoming war.

Artists’ Prize

The winning artist will receive a free t-shirt with their design on it!

Giving Back

Proceeds from the t-shirt sales will go to support feeding the war set-up crew.

Artwork License

By submitting your Artwork to Society for Creative Anachronism, The Kingdom of Atenveldt you agree to us having a license to use, promote, display, reproduce, and distribute your Artwork for commercial and non-commercial purposes, including, without limiting the foregoing, to reproducing the Artwork on the Website, and selling promotional items incorporating your Artwork through the Website, and use in promotional materials. Formally, this means you grant SCA, Org. a license to use, copy, change, publish, publicly perform, distribute, exhibit, or add to your work.

The artwork must be original and the artist must have rights to all the elements of the submitted design.
We will give you credit when we use your submission in a public way.
Artwork submitted by you and the rights relating to them, including copyright and ownership rights in the Artwork, remain the sole and exclusive property of the Artist. No other use of the Artwork is granted without your express written consent.
