The Arts & Sciences Academy at War of the Phoenix 2025 is excited to invite teachers and artisans to share their medieval knowledge and skills! In past years, we’ve offered an incredible variety of classes, such as Introduction to the SCA, tablet weaving, cheese making, husbandry and herbalism, sewing garb, and other weaving techniques. Attendees have also enjoyed sessions on brewing mead and cordials, as well as hands-on make-and-take workshops.

We’re eager to continue this tradition of rich, immersive learning—and we’re always looking to add new classes and fresh talents to our schedule! If you have a unique skill or a passion for any aspect of medieval life, we encourage you to get involved. Whether it’s teaching the finer points of brewing, leading a workshop on garb making, or sharing your expertise in medieval crafts, your knowledge would be a fantastic addition to our Academy.

Classes will run:

• Wednesday: noon to 4 PM
• Thursday & Friday: 10 AM to 5 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM to 4 PM
