Camp Structures
🎪 Stay in Compliance! 🎪

When preparing for War of the Phoenix, it’s important to understand the guidelines for RVs and Mobile Camp Structures to ensure a smooth and authentic experience for all attendees.

RVs Defined

An RV includes recreational motor vehicles, motorhomes, travel trailers, truck campers, camper vans, camp trailers, pop-up campers, and fifth wheels, whether self-powered or towed. RVs must park in the designated RV camping area if being used for lodging, or oversized parking if unused for camping purposes.

Mobile Camp Structures Defined

A Mobile Camp Structure is a structure built on a modern trailer base that provides shelter, lodging, showering, or kitchen facilities. Examples include shower wagons, chuck wagons, houses on wheels (vardo), and shepherd carts. These structures may be used within encampments as long as they make a reasonable attempt to present a period-appropriate appearance.

Important Rules to Remember

  • Mobile Camp Structures must fit within the allotted encampment land space.
  • No special land allotments or assignments will be granted for Mobile Camp Structures.
  • Generators are prohibited in all camping areas.

These guidelines are in place to preserve the period atmosphere and prevent RVs from being disguised within encampments. If a structure fails to meet the standards above, the encampment must work with the Land Staff and RV Coordinator on a corrective plan. Non-compliant structures may be relocated to the General RV area.

If you have questions or concerns about your trailer’s appearance, please contact the RV Coordinator in advance.
