The Watch Command

The Watch plays a key role in ensuring the safety and security of War of the Phoenix. Volunteers help patrol the grounds and assist attendees as needed. The Watch Command, located in Merchant’s Row, serves as the hub for charging stations and the lost and found.

Look for individuals wearing green sashes lined in yellow, featuring a Portcullis and chain emblem—these are Watch volunteers ready to assist if you encounter any issues.

Planning

On-site services

Shower trucks, WiFi, golf carts and more. There are many on-site services available at the event.

Carts/Shuttles

Volunteer-driven golf carts/shuttles are available on-site to assist those with mobility challenges. If you need a ride, call on the radio for a volunteer, and they’ll be happy to assist in getting you where you need to go.

Firewood (On-site delivery)

There will be no on-site firewood! Valley Firewood will deliver firewood on-site. Contact Moe at 480-495-3518 

Lost & Found

Found items should be taken to the Watch Point (unclaimed items will be stored there until the close of the event). Lost items should be reported at the Watch Point.

The Watch at the War of the Phoenix is responsible for patrolling the camping, parking and merchant areas. Pick up a shift!

Radios (FRS)

The war staff knows FRS radios are popular for families and groups who wish to keep in touch during the event. You and your family can use Channels 13, 14 or 15. Please be sure you and your children keep the staff-reserved radio frequencies clear, and that you limit your conversations on the family channels to the information you most need (so others can share the channel as well).

Shower trucks

Need a place to freshen up? Shower trucks are stationed at Sun Lane and Stagecoach Road. Be sure to bring your own toiletries and towels. We recommend wearing flip-flops or water-friendly shoes, as you might walk through water or mud.

Wifi & Phone Charging

Charging Stations will be set-up in The Watch Command in Merchants’ Row. 

If you’re a hospitality encampment that allows charging please contact the Mains to add to this list.
