The Medieval Arts and Sciences Hub (M.A.S.H.) invites you to step into a world of living history, where artisans demonstrate pre-17th-century crafts like spinning, dyeing, woodwork, metal smithing, and more. Enjoy daily activities, sample delights from our baker and Brewers Guild, and get hands-on in our new art creation space for a chance to win prizes.
Whitesmithing with Master Seamus
Natural Dyeing with Mistress Nastas’ia
Demo will include dye pots and coordinate with the Fiber Village.
Beehive Oven Baking with Honorable Lord Wolfgang
Baking outdoors with clay and brick ovens.
Fiber Village with Lady Kattra
The demos will include cleaning, carding and spinning natural fibers. There will be lots of drying and long pauses involved.
Woodshop with Master Johan
This demonstration will be building a break-down stool on-site, and possibly a box as well. Days and times to be determined.
Blacksmithing with Master Diego

Buttermaking with Lady Elizabeth the Herbalist
Open-fire Cooking with Mistress Magdelen

Leatherworking with Mistress Caoilfhionn
Demo will include pouches, tooling, plug embossing, maybe book making styles and one day working with Amber.
