Youth & Teen Pointes Volunteers (aged 18+)

Are you passionate about family-oriented activities and love working with kids and teens? Join us as a Youth Pointe or Teen Pointe volunteer and help create unforgettable experiences for our younger populace (ages 0-17)!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers (18+) to donate their time and positive energy to these roles:

Responsibilities include

  • Craft Aid: Assist youth hands-on with activities that require scissors or glue, as well as restocking supplies
  • Class Instructor: Teach a class to youth on a topic centered around the SCA’s themes and historical timelines (10-30 minutes)
  • Demonstrator: Share your own crafting skills or bardic arts, like storytelling or poetry reading  (10-30 minutes)

Assistance can be provided.

1-2.5 hours (multiple shifts available)

  • Youth & Teen Points’ Hours: 9am-4pm
  • Extended Teen Hours 6pm-9pm

Youth & Teen Pointes Disclaimer – to ensure a safe and supportive environment, we require a minimum of two unrelated adults (18+) to serve in an official capacity during shifts. However, we aim to have more than two helpers whenever possible, and we’re committed to involving teens and all youth in greater capacities throughout the event. Your participation is highly encouraged and valued!
