Oyez! Oyez! Their Excellencies Valdisa and Wolff acknowledge that as we start to re-enter into SCA events, we have been lacking perhaps in motivation to achieve our goals of completing sewing projects. So it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that they are able to offer up a Garb Sewing Day, hosted by Barony of Sun Dragon!

This Garb Sewing Day will be held at the Peoria Community Center in a large breakout room (~20’x40’) with the availability for lots of tables. We are able to have multiple sewing machines and sergers as long as there is only one machine per outlet, so bring your materials and your extension cords.
Come for all or part of the time. If you are new to sewing, this is a terrific time to get assistance from experienced populace. If you need help with understanding patterns or trying to figure out a challenging piece of garb, this will be a fantastic opportunity for you to get input from your fellow sewing enthusiasts! Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to try to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.
City of Peoria COVID Statement:
Beginning Thursday July 29th, the City of Peoria will be requiring all city employees and visitors to wear masks inside city buildings. This applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.
