Greetings unto the fighters of Glorious Atenveldt!  Southern War Practice is almost upon us!  We welcome you to the beautiful Thunder Mountains of Mons Tonitrus for a full day of fighting.  King Cona and Queen Aesa will be in attendance.  During Their Court, Master Seamus Sinclair will answer the question of being elevated to Laurel.  There will be a fighter-themed largesse derby as well.  As this is a fighter practice, there is no site fee.

The site is Patrick Arbenz Field in Sierra Vista, at 3300 E. Tacoma Street.  Site opens at 8 AM and closes at 4 PM, on Sunday January 7, 2024.  There is no staking, so please bring weights if you have a pop-up.  There are several fast food eateries and other restaurants within a few minutes’ drive.

Directions to the site:  From I-10, take exit 302 onto highway 90.  Continue down highway 90 until you get to the intersection at Fort Huachuca, and turn left at the stoplight to stay on highway 90.  At the second stop light, turn right onto Coronado Drive. Turn left onto Tacoma Ave.   Go past the library and pickleball courts, and Arbenz Field will be on the right.
