You are cordially invited to a Kingdom Scriptorium hosted by the Barony of Granite Mountain on November 2, 2024 from 10a-6p to be held at the Cozy Craft Room and Studio in Mesa, AZ.
We will spend the day sharing knowledge and supplies to design and paint beautiful scrolls as well as working on calligraphy. Beginners are welcome! There will be several classes available that day, as well as, a chance to practice beside talented artists and other beginners who will be adding special touches on scrolls to personalize them for specific awards. This is an opportunity for scribes to meet from around the Kingdom and to share our skills with each other.
This is a GREAT opportunity for our teen youth to get more involved in SCA arts! Bring your favorite scrolls to display and your favorite supplies. We will provide some basic supplies for those just discovering their future favorite SCA activity! There are approximately 40 restaurants within 3 miles of the site, and several hotels for those who may want to stay locally. The site is indoors, ADA friendly, and working service animals are welcome. See the store website – location tab for maps.
Online Registration ends Oct 28. No refunds after Oct 28.
Site Fees: Adult Member: $15, Adult Non-Member: $25, Youth: $0
