Greetings unto the Noble Populace of Atenveldt!  The Premier Barony of the Known World will be hosting an Investiture at its Yule event on December 7th, 2024. 

Join us as Baron Nikolaus Von Erlach and Baroness Valdis Skarpa step down into retirement and we invest our new Baron and Baroness. 

There will be a buffet of refreshments and finger foods available throughout the event.  The menu will be announced at a later date.  We will have options for alternative diets (vegan, gluten free) but if you need something specific, please reach out to our Event Steward. The appetizers will be mostly small, finger foods and bite sized pieces so you are able to snack throughout the day and stay on the move so you can enjoy. 

We will be having a dessert competition and a cookie decorating contest, both to be judged by Their Excellencies! Cookies, cakes, or pies are all welcome so make the most delicious dessert you can for a chance to win some great prizes. Cookies and supplies will be provided for the cookie decorating contest. 

There be a gift exchange in celebration of Yule. Adults may bring a wrapped gift (max. $20) and Youth may bring a wrapped gift (max. $10) to put under the tree. Participants that have brought gifts, will be asked to add their name to a list.  Each person with their name on the list will simply choose a gift when they are all under the tree. You touch it, it’s yours – no stealing or swapping.

We will also have a games table set-up for all to enjoy.

Site: Community of Christ Church; 4224 N 44th St, Phoenix AZ 85018. 
The event is indoors, with restrooms available.  The parking lot is quite large.
