BMMT Invites You to Barmaids

The Barony March of Mons Tonitrus invites all to come camp, fight, frolic, and revel with us April 22 through 24, 2022 Barmaids.
Saturday will be filled with activities designed to engage and entertain the populace—Bar Brawls for Heavy Fighters and Rapier Fighters, Archery shoots. And for those that want to join in.as the sun sets over the Gateway to Southern Arizona, the Monsters will break out the bar for our world famous Most Bodacious Barmaid Competition……the cornerstone of this Event! A prominent panel of judges will critique the enthusiastic entrants so don your best barmaid bodice, hone those mug sliding skills, and follow the frivolity to The Tavern for laughter and shenanigans! Magnificent
Musicians and brilliant Bards, bring your harps, horns, drums, songs, poems, and stories to fill the night with raucous rhythms for the dynamic Dancers, superlative song, poignant poetry, and spell-binding stories around the fire pit!
Site Opens Friday, April 22 at 10 A.M.
Site Closes: Sunday, April 24th at noon.

Site is discretely wet, no glass please
Pets allowed on a hand-held leash with owners responsible for waste pickup.
Current fire constraints:
Locations: Las Cienegas National Conservation Area. Empire Ranch, Airstrip Group
Site. Located seven miles north of Sonoita, AZ
Site Information: Above ground fires (depending on fire conditions); dogs allowed on leash, smoking, site is wet; dry RV camping; the nearest hospital is in Sierra Vista; the roads are unpaved. The main road to the Empire Ranch headquarters is well- maintained and suitable for passenger cars and RV’s; there is drinking water available at the Empire Ranch headquarters. Water is not located at camp site, suggest bringing water for the weekend. Please pack out all trash!
Directions from Sierra Vista: Hwy 90 toward Interstate I-10, left onto Hwy 82, Head south on State Highway 83. Near milepost 40, turn east onto the Empire Ranch entrance. Camping is at the Airstrip Group Site.
Directions from Tucson
* Go east on I-10 and exit at Route 83 (scenic highway)
* Proceed south on Route 83 approximately 18 miles to the paved road on your left between mile post 40 and 39. Watch for brown Historic Empire Ranch sign on the right side of the highway.
* Turn east (left) onto paved road and follow for 3 miles to the Empire Ranch House on your left.
Follow the SCA white signs to the camp grounds.
