Greetings onto the populace of the great lands of Atenveldt. You are invited to the southern lands of our Kingdom to partake in Spring Coronation and Champions events.
These events will be hosted in the Barony of Mons Tonitrus!
Saturday May 20th, 2023: Coronation
Saturday at the Klein Center for the Performing Arts (aka Buena High School) 5225 E Buena School Blvd, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.
On Saturday, site opens at 9am and closes at 5pm. You are encouraged to come fill the indoor halls of the grand theater as we bid a fond retirement to our current King and Queen, and witness Their Heirs take station in the thrones of Atenveldt!
Refreshments showcasing culinary skills will be provided between courts.
May 21st, 2023: Champions Sunday
King’s and Queen’s Champion – King’s Cut and Thrust Champion – Archery Champions – Thrown Weapons (Yes, all in one location on one field).
Arbenz Park, 3300 E Tacoma St, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635
This site opens at 9am and closes at 5pm. There are shaded areas, but you are encouraged to carry parasols, wear hats, and sunscreen as we expect the Aten sun to greet us with its rays. The southern lands are also known for its windy, spring days. Chairs or picnic blankets are also encouraged. No staking allowed on the field.
Hard suit fighters will vie for the title of King’s Champion and Queen’s Champion whilst the rapier combatants compete to be King’s Cut & Thrust Champion! (Styles and formats to be determined by the Crown. Pick-ups allowed at the discretion of the marshals)
Handbow and crossbow will be holding both tournaments for their respective champions at the same time. Additional information may be provided by Mstr. Roberto Raimondo, royalarcher@atenveldt.org.

For both sites, please note:
* Sites are alcohol and tobacco free
* No pets (service dogs allowed as vetted by the ADA)
* Drinking water will be available, however it is recommended you bring your own.
* You may bring your own food and beverages to consume in designated areas and several eateries are conveniently nearby.
Further details shall be announced as volunteers rise to the occasion (e.g., youth corner, largess derby/drive/display, water/snack bearing, bardic arts)! Interested parties are encouraged to contact the event stewards and are welcome to share other ideas.

* Online Registration – Adult Member fee for 2 days $20 (no single day rate)
* Online Registration – Adult Non-member fee for 2 days $25 (no single day rate)
* Cash at Gate – Adult Member fee for 2 days $25 (no single day rate)
* Cash at Gate – Adult Non-member fee for 2 days $30 (no single day rate)
* Youth under 17yo are free
Refund requests are due no later than May 13, 2023. Checks will be mailed after the event.
